How to Vote
Fans are allowed only one vote per day and must vote either via Facebook or Twitter.
To vote with Facebook you must select your favorite player from the seven options at mlb.com/CoverVote, then click on the Facebook icon on that player's voting page and follow the Facebook authentication prompts to make sure your vote counts.
There are two ways fans can vote using Twitter:
1. Select your favorite player at mlb.com/CoverVote, then click on the Twitter icon on that player's voting page and follow the Twitter authentication prompts to make sure your vote counts.
2. Write a tweet or retweet with your favorite player's unique MLB13 Cover Showdown hashtag (#MLB13Buster, #MLB13Kemp, #MLB13Braun, #MLB13Cabrera, #MLB13Cutch, #MLB13Harper, #MLB13CC). To vote this way with Twitter you do not have to visit mlb.com/CoverVote, we will be tracking all the tweets with the player hashtags listed above and counting them as votes add to each respective player's total vote count.
You may share on Facebook, tweet and retweet as many time as you want to help get get the word out about your favorite player, but only one vote per day per user account will be counted. To make sure you get your vote counted every day, each new day of voting begins at 12:00 am EST and ends at 11:59 pm EST
Fans can unlock an additional 25 votes by preordering MLB13 The Show through GameStop. If you preorder the game, you will be given a code you can redeem at mlb.com/CoverVote and cast your additional 25 votes for your favorite player. You can preorder as many copies of MLB13 The Show as you like, with each preorder you will get an additional code to redeem for 25 votes. Each code can can only be redeemed once and those votes can only be added to one player, they cannot be split between multiple players.
Voting opens on 1/7/2013 at 8:00 am EST and ends on 1/11/2013 at 8:00 pm EST.
